Mum and I love making this because it's easy to make and healthy to eat! In a bowl: add.... 2 cups of Almond Meal 1 cup of Dessicated Coconut Handful of nuts...sunflowers seeds, slivered almonds, etc. Optional: cranberries or raisins or dates or even chocolate chips Melt a cup of coconut oil and pour into mixture for sweetness add 1 cup of Maple Syrup Mix together. Lay it on a flat oven tray and bake for 15 minutes at 180°C. Leave to cool, for a crunchy Granola. Simply more'ish!
I love lemonade... anything sugary and tangy really. I recently went to Cannes and I spotted this little organic shop with cute little glass jars filled with salads, berry yoghurts and veggies. Everything looked so delectable and healthy... I could have eaten everything !! Anyways I picked up this Italian lemonade in a tall thin glass bottle...and when I took my first sip, I nearly had a heart failure... it was soooo YUMMY guys. So I decided to try to recreate the drink at home and it tasted really good and I guess it's better than drinking a manufactured drink full of refined sugar and chemicals.
All you need is a jug, a handful of ice and mix these ingredients: -1 cup of lime juice -2-3 cups of fizzy water (to dilute) My all time favourite fizzy water is Perrier -1 cup of sugar cane syrup or coconut sugar
Once that's done pour yourself a glass of deliciousness
Sometimes I crave an unhealthy snack and once I eat that evil unhealthy snack, I feel kind of bad and yucky and I hate that feeling. I don't want you guys to feel that way therefore I decided to make a list of healthy snacks that are still delicious, healthy and easy to make.
Okay so this yummy snack is so delicious and easy to make You will need: -Hummus - A tablespoon of Olive Oil -Some Raw Vegetables: Cucumber,Carrots and Celery sticks are my fave - If you want some tanginess you can add a couple of drops of lemon juice - A pinch of paprika
All you need to do is put the hummus in a bowl and stir the olive oil and lemon juice in. Add a pinch of paprika on top of the mix. Add a plate under the bowl and display you fresh vegetables. It's going to taste so yummy and healthy.
2.Avocado Pita Bread
I love this snack and could kind of live on it!! You will need: - Half a pita bread - Half and avocado - 4 cherry tomatoes - A drop of olive oil -2 lettuce leaves or any raw veggies you like
Scoop out your avocado and put in in a bowl, stir in the olive oil. Dice you sweet cherry tomatoes and mix it in with the avocado. On that's done fill you Pita Bread 'pocket' with the mix and add in the lutuce. It's such a tasty snack and is full of texture... Pure DELICIOUSNESS!!
3.Strawberry and Passionfruit Greek Yogurt
All I can say is that this is addictive You will need: -Half a passionfruit -2 diced strawberries -2 cups of greek yogurt -1 tablespoon of yogurt

3/ WaterLogged: Water is very important for us, especially for us teens.It's vital for great skin, hair and overall health. This app helps you keep track on your daily H2O intake. The rad bit is that it will send you notifications if you don't drink a sufficient amount of water.A must have app I think!
4/Map My Run: this app keeps track of your workout,duration, distance, speed, elevation, calories burned, and route traveled on an interactive map. When you have finished you workout you can share your stats and route on your social networks and this will surely keep you motivated.
5/ 7min: This is a rad app that consists of different intense workouts that lasts 30s. It is a great workout routine after long days of school because it doesn't take up a bunch of time and it keeps your energy pumping!!

For us TEENS living in the Northern Hemisphere.....summer typically starts on the 21st of June....however, 'the little ray of sunshine' has kindly showed its rays as April rolls in!!!
So to celebrate the "Spirit of Fun in the Sun"....consider the following sun safety tips: * Apply Sunscreen - to avoid the risk of melanoma related deaths. * Wear proper clothing - Large brimmed hats are super cool this summer and don't forget your sunnies (sunglasses) and loose fitting summer cotton dresses, loose fitting clothing is heat friendlier. So head out and buy great looking sun protection accessories.
* Avoid extreme sun exposure - the suns brightest from 10am-3pm, while we TEENS will be tempted to frolic in the sun.....remember to take frequent breaks in the shade. Shading under sun-umbrellas are also a cool option. * Stay away from Tanning Beds - Tanning under the RAYS of a Tanning bed....is equivalent to spending hours in the SUN...unprotected.

Teen-I-Am TEST TAKING TIPS
If you’re like me before a test….. and feel butterflies in your stomach, sweaty palms, cant stop chewing your pencils….nerves, nerves, nerves
Here’s what I found HELPS :
Get enough sleep the night before the test. Scientific study proof that people who got enough sleep before taking a test did better than those who stayed up all night studying.
Study. It‘s a no-brainer, but you'll have less reason to be worried.
Listen to instructions. Be sure you know what's expected of you. If something seems unclear before you start, don't panic: ASK.
Read the test through first. Once you have the test paper in front of you, read over the entire test.
TIP : wear a Watch, you can divide your time better.
Answer Questions you know : Don't obsess over the ones you don’t. Come back to it later. If you blank out its harder to remember. Keep Cool.
Relax : If you’re anything like me, when I get too nervous…my brain goes blank …. so you might need a mini-break.
· wriggle your fingers and toes
· take a few deep breaths
· picture yourself in a happy place
Finished already? Check over your work. But if you’re running out of time, just complete whatever you're working on…. Dont panic !!!

BUT if you have many late nights, a teens growth may be affected by not getting the full amount of sleep.
Fact : While we are sleeping, the growth hormone is released. If we are getting too little sleep, the growth hormone is suppressed
Sleep deprivation has also been linked to Obesity and Diabetes.
Getting enough sleep will also help you focus better in school and give you more energy and better concentration for Sports and other activities.
Advice : keep away from those energy drinks, they keep you up ALL NIGHT !!!!

TIPS FOR GLOWING SKIN
1)Wash your face twice daily. Make cleansing your skin part of your morning and bedtime routines.
-Use a gentle soap. Unless you have exceptionally oily skin, this should do the trick for most people.
-Lather the soap around all the areas of your face. Make sure you get your forehead (especially along the hairline), cheeks, nose, upper lip, chin, and jawline.
-Rinse off by splashing water on your face. Using a washcloth or rag to roughly wipe your skin clean can irritate it more. Instead, bend your face over the sink, cup your hands together, and bring up small amounts of water to splash over your face. About 10 splashes should do it.
-Pat dry. Again, don't roughly rub your skin dry with a towel. Instead, dry it with small, gentle pats or let it air dry.
2)Moisturize twice daily. Using lotion in the morning acts as a primer for your makeup, helping it "stick" to your face throughout the day. Moisturizing at night helps your skin repair itself and stave off wrinkles. Bottom line, it's one of the best things you can do for glowing skin over the long term.
Don't forget your neck and décolletage. These areas can get super dry and irritated if you never moisturize them.
4)Exfoliate once a week (optional). If your skin tends to be dry and flaky, a weekly exfoliation can clear out dead skin cells. Find an exfoliant that has a super fine grain, and don't rub it roughly into your skin — use light pressure and gentle motions. 5)Protect your skin from the sun. Avoid leathery, tough skin by applying a light sunscreen every time you plan to be outside. The lack of sun damage will keep your skin dewy and supple for years to come. Remember, it only takes 15 minutes to get a sunburn, so be prepared.
